What are the pricing factors for Mesh Pool Fencing by Pool Barrier?
As stated above, there can be many factors in determining an accurate 2021 Cost of an Installed Mesh Pool Fence project. Here are a few to keep in mind in order of importance.
- Overall size of the pool to surround. For example, your “oval” shaped pool is 36 feet long and 16 feet across? This fence would be 97 feet long or 100 feet rounded off. The installer will stay off the pool’s water edge no less than 20” away (typically 24”) in order to create a “safe” space around the inside of the fence when installed. 20” is the minimum distance it can be installed by MOST state, regional building codes or regulations. If you have a screen enclosure, the length will likely be less than the total distance to install.
- What Style & Color Pool Barrier Fence are you going to choose? Our Invisaview™ Mesh style, available in black, brown, beige, white and white/black, which creates the most transparent appearance or choose our Selectview™ option, our most Popular style, available in black ONLY. Invisaview™ has a slight up charge over the Selectview™ style.
- Choosing our Quick-Close™ Gate System or manual opening will determine overall ease of use when installed. We ALWAYS recommend one or more of our self closing, self latching, Quick-Close™ Gate Systems! This system of entry & exit of the pool area is the safest and easiest of a typical mesh pool fence. One must pull up on the opener located on the top of a MagnaLatch® safety gate latch, installed 54″ high out of reach of children, while the Tru-Close® spring hinges close the gate behind you, causing a secure closure every time. The key lock should be used to secure this latch at all other times. A single manual opening is installed, at no charge, near to the pool stair location when a gate is not purchased.
- Will the fence be installed in a solid deck surface like poured concrete or a type of paver/stone surface? These don’t usually affect the cost often, except in certain paver/stone situations there can be a slight cost increase. The main cause of a price increase, in this category, would be if all or some of the pool fence is needed to be installed in the grass, dirt or artificial turf in order to complete a safe & practical installation.
