Answers To Your Questions

The Pool Barrier is a tension-based removable fence system. It’s been tested, improved upon and used for over 30 years. The firm, flexible and climb-resistant Pool Barrier adds a layer of protection around the pool area, protecting infants, children, and animals from dangerous situations. Parental supervision should be the first means of keeping children safe, but the Pool Barrier excels in protecting a home’s pool area with a simple installation.

The Pool Barrier’s reinforced aluminum quad-core poles, PVP-coated and UV-resistant fabric mesh and polyethylene sleeves can be inserted into a pool deck’s surface via stainless steel screws. These sections are then fixed together with state-of-the-art latches, creating tension. When all sections are attached, the Pool Barrier forms a tight, safe fence around the pool area.

The Pool Barrier can be used in more places than around the pool. Homeowners can install the fencing system in several areas, protecting the location while keeping away unwanted pests.

Seawalls

The Pool barrier can be installed directly into a seawall, keeping children and pets away from unsafe, dangerous ledges and waters.

Around pets

The Pool Barrier can be installed around areas which are heavy with pet traffic. Protect your animals from swimming pools, maintenance areas or even outdoor decks. The Pool Barrier material is strong, so as to add protection from claws and teeth.

Garage Doorways

The fence can be installed across garage doorways, keeping kids, pets, and toys inside while the door is open. The Pool Barrier can also be used to prevent unwanted animals from entering.

Sloping Driveway Bottoms

Protect balls, bikes, skateboards, and trikes from rolling into the street, and make sure the kids are protected from the road beyond. The Pool Barrier can be installed with a long length, so driveway width is never a problem.

While the Pool Barrier can be removed when needed, we recommend keeping the fence up at all times—so as to protect any children. The average Pool Barrier fence length takes no longer than 10 to 20 minutes to remove, pack and store. Reinstallation is similar. Your Pool Barrier installation provider can assist with tips and tricks, ensuring ease of assembly and disassembly. To begin the removal process, do the following:

  1. Unlatch each section by squeezing the fence’s two joint poles together with one hand. With your other hand, slide the spring latch open.
  2. Pull upwards on each of the fence’s poles while rolling its mesh down the line. When the section is completely rolled, move to the next section.
  3. Place all sections, carefully, into a clean, dry area of the patio, garage or storage area.
  4. If the fence is going to be removed for a long period of time, you can place the Pool Barrier’s Sleeve Caps into your pool deck’s sleeves, so as to keep them away from debris and provide a clean-looking surface.

An estimate and installation, sometimes, can be performed in the same visit, depending on our current schedule. Phone estimates, in some cases, can provide accurate, linear-foot measurements.

Upon ordering your Pool Barrier, an installation technician will arrive, laying out the fence location while adhering to local codes. Your provider will require a water supply faucet and an electrical outlet. These resources are used to connect their Core Drill, which will drill into your deck’s surface, creating insertion holes for the Pool Barrier’s plastic deck sleeves.

Your Pool Barrier’s sleeves, then, will be secured into each drilled hole, becoming flush with the deck’s surface. Each fence section, then, is rolled out and placed into the corresponding deck sleeves. Each fence’s sections, then, are latched together with the Pool Barrier’s stainless steel latch and eyes. If needed for a code compliance, a latch locking device will be installed. Your Pool Barrier’s sleeve caps will be left to the customer, and payments will be made for the completed job. Most installations can be completed within one to two hours, yet complicated installations may require additional time.

The Pool Barrier’s Quick-Close™ Gate System is available for ease and security when entering and exiting the pool.  This gate can be installed in convenient locations around the pool area. It can be opened by lifting the top plunger-style MagnaLatch lock atop the gate—which can then be swung open, away from the pool. The door, then, can be closed behind you. The door latches automatically with the Pool Barrier’s TruClose system, ensuring complete protection after every entrance and exit. The MagnaLatch is key-lockable, so as to provide additional security. It includes two keys.

If a Quick-Close Gate system is NOT used your Pool Barrier will have manual opening where every 2 fence sections meet, which is once per 15 feet. These openings can be accessed by loosening the fence section’s Safety Latch, or by removing one to two poles from the deck sleeves. The opening, about three to six feet wide, can be walked through with room to spare.

Pool Barrier brand fencing holds a Lifetime Warranty, which is given to the product’s original owner. See the Lifetime Warranty full specifications for more information.
